Wilson Park Ribbon Cutting: POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2024

Original Date: Sunday, October 13, 2024

We're over the moon (literally, we have a tree that was in space!) at the revitalized Wilson Park. Please join us at the City of Ferndale Wilson Park Ribbon Cutting (postponed from Sunday, October 13, 2024, to Sunday, October 27, 2024) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to check out the new and exciting playground system, walking path, trash and recycling bins, accessible water fountain, picnic tables with wheelchair access, parking lot, and beautiful landscaping. Light refreshments and activities will be available.

Please note that the park will be partially open for the time being. The swing set and pavilion are still in orbit and will descend in the coming weeks.

Thank you to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Oakland County Parks, the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Legacy Funds, the American Academy of Dermatology, and America in Bloom for making this happen. On behalf of the City of Ferndale, we're proud of our Parks and Recreation Department and their efforts in this community.
