Fern and Learn Returns for 2025

Get excited! The Fern and Learn program is back for the third year in a row. Do you have questions about how the City operates? Are you curious about what City staff does on a day-to-day basis? Do you have questions or concerns you want to address? This is the place for you.

Residents can expect presentations, station tours, and activities from the following departments: City Manager's Office, Police, Fire, Public Works, Finance (with a concentration on the Headlee Override Proposal), Parks and Recreation, Zero Waste, City Clerk's Office, Communications, Community and Economic Development, Downtown Development Authority, Human Resources, and IT.

This weekly program is on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. beginning on April 3, 2025, and ending on June 5, 2025. Sessions will mostly be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, but some locations may vary.
